NAUI Basic Scuba Diver

This is the entry level open water scuba course. Completion of this course will enable the student to dive around the world and experience the 70% of the planet most people never get to see. With Aquatech, you will not only learn the do's and don'ts of basic diving but the reason behind them. This certification enables all divers / Jr. diver to dive a max depth of 60 feet. To achieve this rating students must complete two phases of training. We have two basic price plans for getting your certification.

Phase #1 Academic and Pool Training

Option#1 Gear n Go Package

$410 plus digital learning package.

• This option is for approved students who need their MSFB personal gear and purchase it through our Dive center.

Our program produces the best results for students who are serious about diving and its lifestyle.

Option #2 General Training Package.

$735 plus digital learning package

• This option is for the students who after application approval have their MSFB personal gear.

• Students with zero equipment needs, other than supplied gear to complete pool training.

• starting at $1,200 plus digtial training materials and MFSB personal gear through Aquatech

Phase #2 (4) open water Dives

Students completing Phase one are now prepared to move onto supervised open water dives. Each student must successfully complete these open water dives meeting NAUI and Aquatech's Standards for recreational diving. Incomplete or failed dives may repeated at an extra fee. Rentals are available as needed. During this phase divers are encouraged to purchase their own weight belts and gloves if diving locally. Students completing cert dives on Aquatech sponsored travel will realize significant discounts on cost of dives.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 10
  • Entry level swimming skills
  • Doctors Physical for age 40 and above
  • All divers must have basic fitness for diving.
  • Diver acceptance application plus waiver
